We always had dogs, I cannot imagine my life without them. Unfortunately I can’t really remember our first doggy, I only know that he was a medium-size black one. If I’m not mistaken he was 14 years old when we had to put him to sleep – as far as I know he was ill. I was 5 at that time. Next we had a beautiful Kuvasz (dog), but we had to present him to somebody because of me: unfortunately he was bigger than me and although he was very gentle, I was afraid of him. Then a sweet Foxy was our mate in the next years. He was a very nice doggy, never did anything wrong, but once he straggeled and never came back. Since then - it is more than 10 years – two beautiful German shepherd dogs protected our house. Though they didn’t have a pedigree, for me they were the most beautiful German shepherd dogs. Unfortunately on 23 February, 2008 we had to let them go forever. They’ll be in our hearts forever.

In spite of the story written above, I always wanted to have a Collie. Most people think it is because of the well-known movie ’Lassie’, but it’s not true. When I was a small child, I saw a beautiful Collie, and it was ’love at first sight’. I decided to buy one as soon as the right circumstances exist. My other ’big love’ is Spaniel. I almost gave up my dream, when I moved in together with my darling - who is already my husband – into a nice house with garden, which provided the facilities to have doggies. My boyfriend was not so happy about my idea, because we were short of cash and after inquiring about Collies, I had to realize that the price of a Collie was higher than my monthly salary. It was very difficult to convince my boyfriend that we need such a nice dog. I’m not a patient person, so right after my boyfriend agreed, I wanted to bring a doggy home. I wanted a gold-sable female dog, but that time I didn’t know too much about the breed or the bloodline, so I chose from the first available litter. Today I would do it other way, but I will never regret to bring home Country's Dream Only Heaven Knows. We love her more than anything else. By now my husband is ’infected’ by the love of Collies. He loves this breed and the animals, of course. I’m continously trying to find out more and more about this wonderful breed and I hope one day I’ll be called breeder. My aim is to breed beautiful collies with nature as good as possible.

Much to my delight, my other big dream came true as well. Thanks to our kind neighbour, the beautiful female English Cocker Spaniel, Bátor (Brave) joined our family. It’s like she would be ours too. Apart from her hunting instinct and her stubborness, her temperament differs from the temperament of Spaniels, probably due to the fact that she was brought up by a Collie. J I hope both doggies will stay with us for a long time. They are our children!

It was not easy to choose a name for our kennel, but we got a lot of ideas. My husband and our neighbour found out one, which we could have got easily, but I didn’t think it would fit the Collie. It was Dr Wakond Motorsport & Pub, Non-stop Parish and Collie Kennel. I guess everybody can understand why I rejected this proposal. Fortunately my lovely friend, Kruzslicz Anita (sherborne kennel) helped me to find a perfect name. We couldn’t have our first choice, but after long expectations on 4th February, 2008 we received the offical letter from MEOE (National Association of Hungarian Dog Breeders) that we got the name ’Angels Flowers’.
